Petroleum Development Oman is the leading exploration and production company in the Sultanate of Oman. The Company delivers the majority of the country’s crude oil production and natural gas supply.
Purpose of the Job
PDO offers training opportunities through its Technician Omanisation Programme (TOP) where successful candidates will be trained in one of the following disciplines-
1. Production operators
2. Instrument Technicians
3. Electrical Technicians
4. Mechanical Technicians

3. Electrical Technicians
4. Mechanical Technicians
Education & Experience
1. Omani national only.
2. Diploma graduates of 2021, 2022 & 2023.
3. College Technical Diploma or Advance Diploma holders with a minimum cumulative CGPA of 2.70 and above (No rounding up) in one of the following majors:
• Chemical Engineering.
• Process Engineering.
• Process Operations / Maintenance Engineering
• Chemical and process engineering.
• Oil & Gas
• Electronic Instrumentation & Control Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Control & Automation Engineering
• Instrumentation.
• Electronics and Telecommunication
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Mechanical Engineering.
• Electrical Engineering/ Electrical power
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Electrical Engineering/ Industrial electricity
4. Candidates should not be older than 27 years of age on the date of application.

2. Final full approved (stamped) and completed diploma academic transcript.
3. Diploma certificate if available.
4. Completion letter for those who haven’t graduated yet (Efada).
5. Omani valid National ID copy (both sides) & Passport copy.
6. Ministry of Labour registration card/letter (Manpower CV).
