Utility Surveyor

Our client, a world-leading EPC company, is currently recruiting for a Utility Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis to work within their digital surveying business that provides support to some of O&G’s biggest names.
Job spec
To execute utility detection surveys UK wide and undertake all relevant data processing as per client requirements as part of a global survey team. This role will be based in Aberdeen.
Key Aims and Objectives

    * Carry out a wide range of utility surveys in line with relevant procedures
    * Processing of all captured data and preparation of final deliverables
    * Managing of survey teams
Prime Responsibilities and Duties

    * Attend planning / mobilisation brief with the Survey Co-Ordinator / Client and ensure that the Scope of Work and contract deliverables is fully understood.
    * Liaise with clients & supervisors involved in projects on site
    * Planning and efficiently organising work in order to meet agreed deadlines
    * Manage survey teams on larger projects
    * Carry out the utility surveys in accordance with my clients procedures and the PAS128 standard
    * Carrying out topographic surveys using GNSS and total stations
    * Data processing and production of deliverables
    * Preparing & Checking of drawings and 3D models
    * Promote a proactive safety culture by active participation in HSSE systems such as stop-cards
Qualifications / Training
Essential:

    * Proficient use of GPR and EML equipment
    * Understanding of PAS128
    * Proficient use of 3D CAD packages (LSS, AutoCAD)
    * Proficient use of total stations and GNSS systems
    * Full driving license
Desirable:

    * BSc in Surveying or other relevant subject
    * CSCS card
Experience
Essential:

    * Very skilled application of all aspects of utility surveying
    * Experience as a Utility Surveyor
